Q For the anon: Let's also remember 'positive stereotypes' can also be harmful. for example: the 'Asians are smart' example you gave, could lead to certain expectations of said group and consequently pressure on them or criticism when/if they don't meet those standards; don't even get me started on 'Jews are rich'. Q Hi Lena, is there a difference between racism and stereotypes? Particularly positive stereotypes? (i.e. Jews are rich, Asians are smart) (Anonymous)
A

Well, stereotyping is a lot broader. You can stereotype genders and races and fandoms and just pretty much anything. Racism is taking racial stereotypes and using them as a means to assert your own superiority over people of that particular race. Positive stereotypes can sometimes be racist, but I find it’s mostly negative stereotypes that convey racism more strongly.

Q Would you ever post templates for your moodboards? (Anonymous)
A

Probably not because there’s no “set” template for mood boards. You can literally lay them out any way you want so a template wouldn’t work.

Q on the scale to 1 to 10 how much do you regret the moodboards? (i regret my most popular post at least a 7) (Anonymous)
A

Surprisingly they haven’t clogged up my dash that much (or maybe I just haven’t noticed it). I don’t actually regret them that much because I really liked making them but I’m not sure if other people feel the same way lol because I’ve made so many of them.

I don’t really follow tutorials for my edits, but I’ve made a couple of tutorials if that’s what you’re looking for.

Q can you recommend some books that are deep? books such as the song of achilles? (Anonymous)
A

I haven’t read The Song of Achilles so I don’t really know what you’re looking for, but Slaughterhour-Five by Kurt Vonnegut is great, so is Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, and The Mistress of Spices by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni.
